Chia seeds is an excellent
superfood comprising a plurality of antioxidants, calcium and omega-3 and
omega-6. Furthermore, when added to a liquid, they swell, becoming a jelly-like
mass, and it is called chia pudding.
You can mix chia seeds with any liquid, but my
personal favorites are milk and yoghurt.
Ingredients:
2 servings
1/2 cup of blueberries
2 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup milk
1 tbsp golden syrup
any dried or fresh berries for decoration
I have raspberries, strawberries and cherries
Cooking method.
Mix milk with syrup and pour chia seeds, mix well.
Leave to swell for at least an hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
Mix blueberries with syrup, put on the bottom of the
glass. Top with a layer of chia pudding, garnish with berries.
